Digene’s Human Papillomavirus (HPV) DNA Test
is a signal amplification test using chemiluminescence for the qualitative
detection of eighteen types of HPV DNA in cervical specimens. Differentiating
between high risk types (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58,
59, 68) from low risk HPV types (6, 11, 42, 43, 44). |

The Digene CT/GC, CT-ID and GC-ID Tests are
designed for the detection of Chlamydia trachmatis (CT)
and Neisseria gonorrhoea (GC) from cervical specimens collected
using the Digene Cervical Sampler or from urine specimens processed
using the Digene Urine Prep Kit for male specimens. The Digene CT/GC
DNA Test detects samples which are positive for infection. The Digene
CT-ID Test and the Digene GC-ID Test can be used following positive
CT/GC results or they can be used as stand- alone tests. |

The Digene Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) DNA Test
is a signal amplification test using chemiluminescence to detect and
quantify Hepatitis B viral DNA in human serum. The test detects HBV
ad and ay subtypes. Standard
test dynamic range: 1.42 X 105 to 1.7 X 109 copies/ml
(0.5 to 6000 pg/ml) using
a sample volume of 30 ml. Ultra Sensitive
dynamic range: 4.7 X 103 to 5.6 X 107 copies/ml
(0.017 to 200 pg/ml) using a sample volume of 1ml which
is concentrated by centrifugation. |

Hybrid Capture Microplate Systems are simple,
easy to use, PC-based systems designed and validated for optimal performance
with Digene's microplate tests (HPV, CT/GC & HBV). The DML 2000
Luminometer’s accuracy and compact size make it ideal for any laboratory.
After reading the luminescence from the Hybrid Capture microplate
test, the DML 2000 uploads the data to a PC for analysis. The Rotary
Shaker vortexes microplates, tube and microtube racks and other sample
containers. The shaker provides various speedsfrom 200 to 1200 rpm,
with an orbit of 3 mm. Digene’s Microplate Heater is an electronically
controlled heating unit composed of a base with dual heating elements,
an RTD block temperature sensor and a high grade aluminium heating
block. |
