Platelet Derived Growth Factor Beta (rhPDGF-Beta)801100/801101
Platelet Derived Growth Factor is a highly conserved dimeric glycoprotein consisting of A and/or B chains linked by disulfide bridges. A small percentage of PDGF isolated from human platelets is the BB form. In addition, the v-cis gene product of the simian sarcoma virus is essentially identical to the PDGF- B chain. PDGF-BB is useful in the study of PDGF receptors, and has bioactivity equivalent to that of naturally-derived PDGF.
