FHIT/CCP3 FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests

The FHIT/CCP3 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human FHIT gene located on chromosome band 3p14.2, along with the number of chromosome 3 copies per cell.* Abnormal expression of the FHIT gene – also known as FRA3B or AP3Aase – has been found in colon, esophageal, stomach and other tumor types.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
