TSC2/CCP16 FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests

The TSC2/CCP16 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human TSC2 gene located on chromosome band 16p13.3, along with the number of chromosome 16 copies per cell.* Abnormal expression of the TSC2 gene – also known as LAM, TSC4 or PPP1R160 – has been observed in tuberous sclerosis, some kidney cancers and other conditions.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
