VHL/CCP3 FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests

The VHL/CCP3 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human VHL gene located on chromosome band 3p25.3, along with the number of chromosome 3 copies per cell.* Abnormal expression of the VHL gene – also known as RCA1, VHL1, pVHL or HRCA1 – has been observed in kidney cancer and other hereditary and somatic conditions.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
