The kit has been designed for determination of plasmatic renin activity by radioimmunoassay of angiotensin I. Before radioimmunoassay, plasma must be incubated so that renin generates angiotensin I in standardized conditions. Enzymatic inhibitor avoids the enzymatic degradation of angiotensin I during generation step.
