This stable, concentrated, posthybridization wash solution is used in 10% neutral buffered formalin, Bouin’s, B5 and alcohol fixed tissues to wash away non-specifically bound probe while leaving intact specific nucleic acid hybrids between the probe and target. HybriWasher has been thoroughly tested for manual in situ DNA hybridization techniques using standard manual technology and a MicroProbe capillary action system.
