CDKN2A/CCP3, 7, 17 FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests

The CDKN2A/CCP3,7,17 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human CDKN2A gene located on chromosome band 9p21.3 and simultaneously determine the copy number of human chromosomes 3, 7 and 17.* Abnormalities in CDKN2A – also known as ARF, MLM, P14, P16, P19, CMM2, INK4, MTS1, TP16, CDK4I, CDKN2, INK4A, MTS-1, P14ARF, P19ARF, P16INK4, P16INK4A or P16-INK4A – occur in gliomas and meningiomas as well as numerous other familial and sporadic tumor types.

The probe set is labeled with CytoOrange, CytoRed, CytoGreen and CytoAqua. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoRed has an excitation peak at 583 nm and emission peak at 605 nm, giving it a red fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoAqua has an excitation peak at 422 nm and emission peak at 471 nm, giving it an aqua fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
