ERBB2/TOP2A/CCP17 FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests

The ERBB2/TOP2A/CCP17 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human ERBB2 gene, located on chromosome band 17q12, and the TOP2A gene on chromosome band 17q21.2, along with the number of chromosome 17 copies per cell.* Abnormal expression or rearrangements of both genes (ERBB2 – also know as NEU, NGL, HER2, TKR1, CD340, HER-2, MLN 19 or HER-2/neu – andTOP2A – also known as TOP2 or TP2A) has been observed in breast carcinoma and many other solid tumor types.

The probe set is labeled with CytoOrange, CytoGreen and CytoAqua. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoAqua has an excitation peak at 422 nm and emission peak at 471 nm, giving it an aqua fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
