PDGFRB Break Apart FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests
CT-PAC210Contact us for more information.
The PDGFRB Break Apart FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements in the human PDGFRB gene located on chromosome band 5q32.* In addition to revealing breaks, which can lead to translocation of parts of the gene, inversion, or its fusion to other genes, the probe set can also be used to identify other PDGFRB aberrations such as deletions or amplifications. Rearrangements and abnormal expression of the PDGFRB gene – also known as IMF1, IBGC4, JTK12, PDGFR, CD140B, PDGFR1or PDGFR-1 – have been observed in several chronic myeloproliferative disorders.
The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551nm and emission peak at 575nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495nm and emission peak at 518nm, giving it an green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
